“One of biggest challenges in China’s senior care sector is the lack of capacity in healthcare around the accessibility and availability of trained professionals.” Chen, L, www.healthintelasia.com , July 8, 2015
The mission of U.S.-China Geriatric and Long Term Care Association is to promote learning of the best U.S. evidenced-based long term care models through training and education to address the shortage of a professional elder care workforce and managment personnel in China.

Ms. Jian Chen is very warm, open minded, and full of energy. She has actively participated in projects promoting collaborations between China and US in senior care sectors. When I attended the 2013 Illinois Governor’s conference on aging in last Dec, Ms. Chen coordinated all aspects of delegation needs. I am particularly impressed with her great ability to pay attentions to details, work ethics, and her thoughtfulness and graciousness. At the same time, she took an active role in preparing the delegation visit led by Illinois Department on Aging to attend 3rd China International Senior Service Expo (CISSE) in May, 2013, and promoting the Expo to US companies. She was the “go to person” for all aspects of US delegation. She served as a bridge and contributed greatly to senior care industries between US and China. ~ Xiaoli Feng, Vice President and Secretary General, China Association of Social Welfare
